Georgia Proposes USPS and Private-Carrier Delivery for Medical Cannabis — September Hearing and Vote Ahead
Georgia’s Medical Cannabis Commission has proposed rules allowing delivery to registered patients, caregivers and healthcare institutions via USPS and private carriers such as FedEx and UPS. The plan requires tracked delivery and a signature from an authorized recipient, with public feedback scheduled for September 16 and an adoption vote planned for September 30.

CBD Suppresses HER2-Positive Breast Cancer Receptor and Increases Cancer Cell Death in Preclinical Study
A preclinical study published in BMC Complementary Medicine reported that CBD reduced expression of a receptor associated with HER2-positive breast cancer and increased cancer-cell death by activating cellular stress pathways. The work also examined potential combination use with trastuzumab, but further validation is needed because the evidence remains at the cell-study stage.
